Too much butt crack for Facebook. This photo was removed. Srsly.
I’ll just jump out of the shower, stick my heels on, then pop outside to see what the neighbours are up to.
It’s a strangely surreal shot, but I like it loads. Probably because there’s so much off with it as a natural thing, it makes it into more of a pure art shot than anything else.
Also cool. Some of our urban landscapes have become Deserts when it comes to allowing and incorporating the human form. Oh sure, we see bodies on billboards and magazine covers, but many of the people are wrapped in packaging so many layers thick that anyone would be challenged to describe our ACTUALLY appearance. Something in me says that cannot be healthy and we must work harder to accept the “beings” we are in our natural form, or to reassert the "natural rights" to exist in it among our fellows. Simple nudity is nothing to be afraid of! (pun intended)
I believe San Francisco did the right thing years ago by allowing SOME freedom of dress, and hopefully we will see more of that in the future. .. a future with amazingly happy people living naturally in it.
It’s like being in love: giving somebody the power to hurt you and trusting (or hoping) they won’t.
